You can't get this information, you just have to save the file and check for
errors using the result.
save this stack
if the result is not empty then
answer "Can't save stack due to an error:" & CR & the result
end if
This will bring up a dialog if your stack can't save for any reason,
including lack of disk space. You can test it by trying to save a locked
file.
