Simon, believe me we was not going offend Metacard in any way!
Just visa versa, main developer of VXCMD -- Brian Yenni is MetaCard
developer and we have made all our best to provide you great database engine
as on MAC so on Windows.

Robert, please check if we really have miss MetaCard in some places of our
WEB pages, Okay ?

Simon, actually 1.8.7 release have had 3 major features:
    -- introduces Java
    -- carbon version of V4RB
    -- carbon ver of VAPP.

if you want you can find in archive release 1.8.6 or 1.8.5 which was WHOLE
about VXCMD.

I must say that MacDev even did not want send it out, because they did say
that XCMD is old ant not modern. So I argument that VXCMD can be used as in
old xCards (HC, SC) so in today's product MetaCard, also in Fronteir and
probably in MacPerl.
