Don't take it the wrong way, I was just having one of those days (you
know, the kind of day where you try to convince a client MetaCard can
query MySQL). Pure frustration on my part, we all *seem* to adore
MetaCard, but try telling that to someone who only remembers pushing
A grc from point a to point B in Hypercard (but thinks Macromedia is
the way to go). Sure MetaCard does way more, and on more platforms,
but trying to express it and follow up your comments is much harder.
Then I saw the article, followed the link, saw "Hypercard" spelled
out and had a brain fart. So I figure, hell if all anyone can
remember is Hypercard than what better than to tell people it's alive
again.
I was just thinking of an alternate universe where it could happen....
PS: Ruslan, I apologize for any distress I may be causing you. I
just can't get my head around the fact that Hypercard has been dead
for so many years and people still talk about it like it's still a
viable option for the future.
