They'll be imported on the fly as needed, at least from files.  This
is *planned* to also work through FTP/HTTP, but this isn't wired up
yet and so no guarantees.

Images will only work as in-line objects (think of them as just being
special characters, because that's how you'll refer to them in
scripts). There are no plans for wrapping text around images or frames
or anything like that, at least not for the foreseeable future.
