I have something to add here: I'm using Outlook, and if I check "Show
thread", it wont share "Re: List Netiquette" and "Re: List Netiquette (was
Digest 0012889387672388399)" under the same thread. If there is no strong
argument against, I would prefer keeping the subject the same all the time.

Yes and no, yes because the e-mails are smaller, no because it is more work
and you maybe won't even send that e-mail because it's to much work to
upload the whole thing. That would be a pity.
