MC 2.4's new merge function offers some tantilizing promise, but I have a
question. The docs offer a single example of its use:
put merge("3+5 is [[3+5]] and 2+2 is <?return 2+2?>")
with notes explaining that expressions are placed between "[[" and "]]", and
commands are placed between "<?" and "?>". In this context, what are
"commands", as distinct from expressions?
