MC always uses the "/" as a path delimiter on ANY supported platform.


But the OS-specific path-delimiters are very different.

The mac uses ":"  
Mac HD:next folder:another folder:THE file

Windows uses "\" 
C:\WINDOZE\System\useseless.dll

All X-oses use "/" 
ruth/ur/user/file.xxx

Now guess were MC might have its roots ;-)
