Here's a Houston Chronicle quote about the value of the
stolen rocks:

"While investigators placed the scientific value of the
recovered moon rock and dust at $1 million, the value of
the rare material to collectors is estimated at more than
    $565 million."

As far as the sentencing, I found this reference
in another Houston Chronicle article:

"A federal prosecutor in Florida said that conviction on the
charges they face carries up to five years' hard time and/or a
   fine of up to $250,000."

Also, don't forget that three of the four people involved with the theft
had pleaded guilty. The fourth person, Gordon McWhorter, is
scheduled to go on trial sometime this month. McWhorter is the
oldest of this group, and the only one of the four who was not working at
NASA as a college intern. McWhorter is a college
acquaintence of Thad Roberts. Roberts is the acknowledged ringleader
of the group. McWorther was among the three arrested in
Florida when they attempted to sell the rocks to FBI agents
posing as interested buyers.
