That picture and slice, also considering the source, has always been my dream specimen!

Congrats to Mike Miller, after Steve S., for such perseverence in the field at Glorieta....gosh, I hope to be there someday.

Beautiful olivines!

I especially like the oblong, narrow, finger-like olivine
left of center. Very interesting!

Wishful thinking or real?...I am under the impression that
several olivines tend to be arranged approximately in triple
junctions!
