the ACCELERATION is 32 feet/sec/sec. that means that while in free fall
(upper atmosphere only), it increases its velocity by 32 ft/sec EACH sec. (i
teach physics - couldn't let that one go!).

Hello John,
OK, I knew I had to be missing something there since 33 minutes was way too long of a fall time.
So, using the laws of physics, how long does it take for a rock to fall after it burns out?
