Wait a dog garn minute..., what are you suggesting here?, that people should
artificially conspire to keep the prices high?, so that the major dealers don't loose
out on those willing to sell at more realistic prices?

That is basically called a 'cartel', and illegal in nearly all major countries and if
I ever found out about people 'getting together' and conspiring to keep prices high, I
would certainly report them without any hesitation, it's criminal and immoral and just
as wrong as someone selling fakes on ebay.

In any case this is all utter rubbish as something is always only worth what you can
get for it, nothing more nothing less. If someone offers something for a cheaper price
then they either are making a loss or they are selling at a fairer price than other
people where.

If something is too expensive for you, then don't buy it. It's called 'life' - get
used to it.

No? Art market is no stable...Never see a Picasso sold
for $2000 or a Faberg egg sold for $1000....or a
Tiziano for $500.....The same in the diamonds and many
other markets. The meteorite market is go in ruin
thanks to some dealer have put historical material or
rare material for ruined prices - the classic NWA 801
CR2 from $200 to $12/gr. - and sincerely to see a
person that sells me a meteorite for $10/gr. and then
sells it to other for $3/gr. dries me several, is not
serious, does not only damage who spent to buy the
piece, but also who even if have buy a quantitative
certainty for a good price and then put it to a lower
price - classic DaG 476 $2000/gr. when exit now
$200/gr. A lot they will be happy of this thing that
the prices are gone in ruin, but who used all of the
money for buy the material and to seek then of to earn
something, this see the prices in the market is go
under the price he have pay for buy the meteorites
from the dealer. It is happened also me with the
classic NWA 801 buy for a " good " price of $30/gr.
from the dealer and after I have found that came sold
to $20/gr. and this is no good!
