As long as we're talking about cleaning specimens, would isopropyl alcohol be ok for touching up an achondrite? Due to the fact that it has 30% water content, I wouldn't use it on any visable metal bearing meteorites. But would it be ok on an achondrite? Any input will be appreciated.
