NEBRASKA PEOPLE SEE A BIG METEOR

IT ALSO PASSES OVER COLORADO

Scotts Bluff, Neb., Aug. 8. - (AP) A trail of grayish smoke in the skies and vibrations which shook buildings over a wide territory in western Nebraska and eastern Wyoming today were believed to have been caused by fall of a meteor of considerable size.
Residents in the vicinity of Henry, Neb., reported a noise like a great explosion. It sent employersof the Pathfinder Irrigation district rushing tot he country where a large dynamite stock was stored.
No Trace
Some persons reported the smoke trail as having been seen fairly low but no indications of where the meteor may have fallen was available.

Sterling, Colo., Aug. 8. - (AP) - Across the skies north of Sterling this morning residents viewed a silvery meteor that seemed to fall just over the horizon, where a puff of smoke marked its disappearance.
Like Silver
The celestial visitor, said those who were fortunate enough to observe it, shone like silver and left a trail of smoke as it passed. It moved from north to south.
