I think Dean tried the CBN blade already, and it too failed.
If memory serves me correctly, Adam Hupe had come across some blades last
fall (I think) that did a much better job on ureilites. Still probably not
an inexpensive proposition though, but by comparison, a lot cheaper. And I
suppose some ureilites can be much tougher than others.

I believe it was for metals and maybe ureilites, but it was cubic boron
nitide I think (CBN blades).

I seem to remember this topic before on the list and somebody came up
with a suggestion for a special blade/proccess (non diamond ) That works.
I cant seem to find it in archives though...anyone else remember that?

greater don't you mean? Be it remembered that
ureilites are chock full with nano diamonds? Seems to
me that is a war of attrition with the diamonds. While the blade is
cutting the Ureilite the Ureilite
is cutting the blade; metal,diamond and, all.
