Count my wife in. She loves them and often brings them up in her own conversations with others. She seems just as excited to go to Tucson again - Weird (but very cool)! My mother and mother-in-law also love coming over and staring at the collection cabinets. All of the women at my work have purchased micros of lunar meteorites for themselves and to give out for Christmas. Maybe it's a Washington state thing :)
Collecting meteorites is such a rare and dynamic hobby that I usually won't mention it around people I have just met. The truth is that the majority of people cannot conceive the ability to own something from space. Of course, many people cannot truly conceive how much one trillion dollars is either.
