I remember a short story about trees grown from seeds which had been taken on expeditions to other planets. The original tree was from a seed taken to the Moon, and it had a calming effect on those nearby. The tree came down (I don't remember the circumstances) and was replaced by a seedling from a Mars expedition. Trouble is, the tree was near some type of world peace conference... Best! Tracy Latimer
