What did I suggested wouldn't prevent anybody in trivial replacement of the default stylesheet(s). It may be solved by a single flag in settings.py, whether generated html should or should not set Bootstrap attributes. It would just make Mezzanine more flexible with no significant costs.
For anyone who would like have some sane defaults to base upon, Mezzanine & Cartridge currently offers only incomplete variation of Bootstrap, not (full) integration as advertised. You can't utilize all of existing solutions without manual interventions and adding missing implementation. Btw. at conforming to DRY principle, there is a also a lot to improve (inconsistent ways of indentation breaking flow, repeated assignments of the same attribute instead of its sharing etc.) . It is probably just me, but I really appreciate the tedious work making consistent and though-out layout system done by experienced people and available for free and can focus at programming of application's logic and extensions. Sure, I can use other templating system or even fix current Bootstrap integration, but just asking if it all this really necessary. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Mezzanine Users" group.
