Thanks so much, Roger. First, it is good to know I am not the only one with 
these issues, and second, my color buttons actually 'work' - meaning they 
appear in the toolbar, they drop down, they display colors, and you can 
click on them and the color shows in the editor - but of course the end 
result is still the same - the color tags get stripped out. I will try your 
solution. Again, thanks so much for posting.
