David,

Try grouping everything (all surfaces anyway) then use Group Check under Utility
- Surface Modes. Start with Model Checking set to Low and Action to Report. This
should list any suspicious surfaces by element number. Now you can inspect,
delete or remake the surfaces listed.

The reason for starting with Model Checking set to Low is that Medium and High
can take a awful long time and usually Low will point out the offending
surfaces.
