Dave,

There are 3 steps to fix this that I could think up off hand:
1- Merge and kill extra workplane.
2- Unmask everything, Group select all then do Save as and select Current group only.

If above 2 step did not work, then the 3rd one is really up to how well your eyes are train to recognize bad surf.

3- Try to locate that funky surface, such as one that does not have complete boundary, too complicated blend or curve, ...and delete it and save the file.
Make sure you have a way to recreate that deleted surf, and stay in Delete dialogue box so you can Undo delete if you delete the wrong surf.
Open a second SmartCAM window and open the new file, and keep doing so till you hit the bad surf.

Good luck!

Subject: [mfg-smartcam] FreeForm Surface problem

I seem to have a problem with Freeform and was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.  I import an Iges file into FreeForm and work on it.  No problems yet but when I save it and try to reopen it I get the following error.
ERROR #13146: the file contains invalid surface entites

Anyone else ever have this problem.  I feel it might be something that Freefrom doesn't like from the Iges file.  Does anyone remember if there where iges entites that Freeform would import but not like if saved.

Thanks for the help
Respectfully Yours
