You may also want to check out UltraEdit at ultraedit.com . It is a great
text editor and has a lot of macro capability and other features that are
really useful.

Subject: [mfg-smartcam] MS Word as text editor?
Hi all,
I was wondering if anyone uses MS Word for text editing. I'm not
familiar with the extent of it's macro capabilities, but it seems there's
some possibilities here. Reason why I'm asking is because I have it on my
work station, but never have used it for any purpose other than typing
letters and reports.
Input, anyone?
