I use MS Word to create CNC manuscripts. I really like it because it allows me to emphasize the important stuff by using bold, italicized, underlined, etc.. text. I can even embed AutoCAD or JPG images for even greater clarity of information.
I have created template files that are only used to create setup information. Open these files in Word, run a few macros and you have an awesome manuscript. Be aware that what I call awesome, others call foo-foo. Where I work we have three shifts and 60 machinists. I can't afford to be un-clear about anything.
