Hello SmartCAM group, I am a sysadmin for Skills, Inc. in Seattle Wa. We have been using SmartCAM for some years (versions 9 and 11) and we have misplaced our CDs. It seems that someone has stolen them or something. Anyway, we are trying to move SmartCAM to some Windows NT machines and not surprisingly it doesn't copy well. We would like to get replacement media, but the local resellers don't have any. We have all the necessay license codes and hardware keys. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the CD-ROM for version 9 and/or 11?
If not, perhaps you could lend me some support in copying the program files. I have copied the SM9 directory, but I am getting a Can't find Resource File error upon startup of any of the executables. I have the license code (well I have authorization anyway, because the license code must be generated new for each machine) and I have the hardware key so I don't think the error is license related. I tested the executables for DLL dependencies and I seem to have all of the DLLs present. Let me know if you can help me on this. David Campbell Sysadmin Skills, Inc.
