Seems to me that if you dumped your parameters settings to a file, and compared the two files, you would hopefully see only one parameter different. Or, you may have two or three or more differenet parameters. Then, one day while feeling experimental, change one parameter at a time, and see what happens. This of course is all hypothetical and just for the concept idea.
