Well, if no one else will go first, I guess I will.  I am not particularly fond of Edit Plus, mostly due to the fact that it will not recognize extended file names.  Any suggestions on a cheap if not FREE text editor program that will let me use extended file names and is simple to use?   Thanks for your imput.
