Okay fellow SmartCAM users I finally got a demo of PM ( Pro/Manufacture )on a real milling part that we make here. The demo was good, and the demo guy did not put on a dog and pony show. A lot of my questions were answered satisfactorily and get this, the questions that he could not answer he said, "I don't know if PM can do that but I can look into that for you."
The demo guy mentioned that there is a Pro/E and Pro/Manufacture user group to post questions. So that in itself is a bonus based on my SmartCAM user group postings. So with that in mind, what I would like to get is some input from anybody whom has had an encounter with PM. Stuff like... How is their technical support? How long is the learning curve to become efficient enough in PM to say it's time to plug the on SmartCAM? Anything...
