I have run Freeform on an Intel PIII 500, the performance was poor. I moved the same hard drive to an AMD 900 mhz Thunderbird equipped machine and it exceeds anything I have seen in 9 years. Windows Me is the OS. I think that Intel has some issues that were not developed as well as AMD rather than the hardware being "too fast." Michael
