Try changing your template file @START & @TOOLCHG sections thus:-   Instead of T#TOOL put:-   #IF(#TOOL<>#NTOOL)<T#TOOL>   Therefore T#TOOL will only be output if the next tool is different to the current one.   Bill in the UK.
