Yes! I forgot about that. Select all objects in your Acad drawing
and explode them. This will solve allot of the problems, as
I have done this in the past to get a good import.

Can anybody tell me why on occasion when importing DXF or DWG files I get a
totally unusable mess.
The elements are imported but have an unknown X value. Y values,lengh of
lines, angles are all there, but no X and if you try and zoom in to anything
nothing happens. also after importing a DWG file I then exported it back out
as  a DWG file and opened it up in Autocad without any problems.
