Michael, There is a good freeware program named WinTopo, follow the link below. To be honest Raster to Vector results vary greatly and normally are less than desirable without manual intervention and editing in something like AutoCad etc. I do a lot of graphic conversions for CNC engraving machines as well as CNC mills. A "VERY FEW" graphic files, maybe 5% are well suited for converting. Converting to greyscale is a normal first step and often give poor results. Try WinTopo, do the editing, and if that doesn't work for what you need I will be glad to look at the file to see if I can make a better suggestion. I make engraving logos for several Trophy Retailers and what it would take to make a fine engraving will be much the same as what will make a nice plot. Halftones etc will blur, I think you need clear definite line geometry. Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes, Michael
