Bill and Smartcam Users, You can add another 300 to the list of unemployed in Erie/Meadville. National Forge is going out and letting 150 people go. Channel Lock just laid off 150 due to slow sales!! Not to mention the small shops that have 10 guys working and are now down to 3, there are too many to count!!
That's 1100 plus toolmaker's and machinist's out of jobs!! It is a terrible statistic and one that I am sure has every shop owner wondering why? and what is the best way to solve it? We all got caught up in the mess in a hurry and it is going to take along time for the industry to turn around, I just hope everybody can hang on!! What can we do??
