This machine is a pallet changer but we bought it
new 2 years ago. With this control you have to push
at least 2 to 3 buttons to do any operations .It gets old
after a while .We are used to Mori Seki.

Just curious, is the Hitachi Seiki a horizontal machine
with a
pallet changer & an old Fanuc 7M control. If it is, we have
one like it
from the late 70's. That control was the first NC Control I
ever used,
so it made any controls from there on seem easy,,,it is a
dinosaur, but
just curious if it was the same.
