Try exploding the ellipse to a polyline and then use Polyarc fit.

                Subject: [mfg-smartcam] ellipse machining

                Hi Folks,
I am trying to deburr the intersection of two holes that are
on an angle to each other, thus creating an ellipse.

The problem is when I try to machine the ellipse, I get
~.025 long line segments and this produces an unacceptable facetted
appearance on the break-edge.

I have tried messing with polyline explosion tolerances etc
etc etc and i am getting nowhere fast!
Does anybody have any ideas suggests or methods that could
help?
                thanks in advance
                ernie
