Right click "My Computer".
Select Properties.
Under the General tab it should say Microsoft Windows 2000     5.00.2195    Service Pack 2.
If you don't have service pack 2, go to the Microsoft update web site and install it.
 
I'm running SmartCAM 11.5 on a Dell Dimension 8100 with no problems.
