Gary We use a free raster-to-vector converter called Autotrace - available at http://autotrace.sourceforge.net/ <http://autotrace.sourceforge.net/> Basically you convert a JPEG file to BMP format with something like PaintShop, then run it through Autotrace to get a DXF output. The results are surprisingly good; there is zero documentation however, and the interface is DOS command line with lots of switches. After unzipping the package to a folder, open a DOS box and type >autotrace -input-format=bmp -output-format=dxf -output-file=MYOUTPUTFILE.DXF MYINPUTFILE.BMP Marc Takahashi CAE Inc.
