SmartCAM can still be used even though it's not supported. Your shop should be set-up with SmartCAM now so there's no need in switching to new software unless you need to program a turbo hydraulic proportional steering housing or something complicated that SC has trouble doing. The only support you would need would be creating post processors for new machines. In this case you can take a previous post and recreate it for the new machines. This forum is a good tool for help with posts and macros.
