In Windows, go into "folder options", then the "file
types" tab. Scroll down and select pm4 files. Click on
"Advanced". Assuming your path to pmill is C:\SM11\SYSTEM\pmill.exe, this
should be in the top line: "C:\SM11\SYSTEM\pmill.exe
%1".
Check the target path in the "shortcut" tab of the
properties of the desktop shortcut. Make sure it matches the actual path
to pmill.exe.
Hope it helps,
Pete

Subject: [mfg-smartcam] error code 2561
I recently had my hard drive go belly up, and got a new one in with SC and everything ghosted in.
I can launch and run my Pmill from the shortcut, or drag .Pm4 files to the shortcut, but when I double-click on the .Pm4 file in explorer, Pmill launches part way and then gives me an error code #2561(C:\SM11\CMI\"C:\SM11\CMI\1099.pm4) 2561: This file was not found.
What puzzles me is that I re-associated the files to Pmill.exe, but it won't launch all the way. I suspect it is some sort of errant path defination, but I cannot find any hints in the Pmill.ini or the smartcam.ini file.
Any ideas?
Douglass Boyd
