Dan, In "Machine Define", check question 122. This may be set to .001. If so, set it to 0.0000.
Check questions 103, 104 and 105 to see if 104 is "Yes". This may play into your problem, although it is supposed to only affect arcs. In "Process, Rough" check the "Params". Here you'll find things like "Climb Cut". When not checked, your pocket will be conventional milled. Also there is "Cut Inside Out". If unchecked, your pocket will be cut outside in. Great for facing off an area. Experiment with these and check out the online manuals for help.
