Howadays we work with Mastercam (ugh!!!) and SmartCAM, but we are looking
for a software to change the two ones.
Firstly, I found a lot of softwares. I found a lot of different softwares in
the web, FeatureCAM, BobCAD/CAM, SolidCAM 2000, TebisCAM, Esprit, Vero
International - Visi CAM, EdgeCAM and others...

I started to test EdgeCAM ... It is a incrible software, but it have some
problems. It doesn't have some fundamentals cycles for me, like open
profiles, work with two pieces at table machine (G54 and G55). It is a
little difficult, in comparsion with SmartCAM. The macro language is very
dificult to understand, and the price, here in Brazil, It is too much
expensive.

I work with MasterCam, here.... It doesn't work with macros ( for me, macros
are very important). and its suport ... is terrible. The post is closed and
we cant create or change nothing. To make any modification we need to
contact the MasterCAM's support and They are "butchers"...

I work with SmartCAM too, and it has only one problem. It's stopped! I need
a new software, because I can't open a lo of drawings and other things. I
have customized all my SmartCAM with Macros, and tool Libraryes.
