Bill,

Go to http://www.rhino3d.com/tutorials.htm
Click on "Troubleshooting IGES files (8.5x11 or A4)". This will open in
Adobe and on page 4 there is a section on "CATIA"

Export your file from Rhino using IGES Type 143 or 144 and see which one
works best for you. I had the best results with IGES Type 144.

Hope this helps in the future

Subject: [mfg-smartcam] Catia file HELP

Hi guys,

Urgently need some help.

Not surprisingly, I'm having trouble reading-in a customer's files from
Catia into Free-Form. Surfaces are missing or untrimmed etc.

I have a copy of Rhino, I'm hoping I can convert his files into files that
will read into Free-Form.

For what file type should I ask the customer (e.g.. .stp) and what should I
export them as from Rhino.

Thanks in advance.

Bill in the UK.
