I'm not at work at the moment, so I
can't answer alot of the questions.
I'll find out more info on the
indexer tomorrow.
The indexer is a 2" dia chuck that
rotates for drilling or milling round stock.
There are actually two indexers
on the machine, one is hooked up to it's own
control box that you program for
what degree to rotate and when the program
outputs M76 the head will rotate to
that degree. The other is plugged into the
machine itself and controlled with
the B or C Axis and an M77 code. I don't have
any information on the indexer itself or how to get it to work from the machine
control.
The M76 works great on the manually
programmed one but I tried M77 B180 on the other
and I'm not getting
anything. Maybe not connected properly or something, I'll know
more
tomorrow.
Thanks for all your help, Stay
tuned for the next exciting episode on
Friday.
