One problem I've noticed is that my "Use DDE" switch will not remain unchecked. I turn it off and but it keeps turning itself back on.
What version of XP are you using and Are you running any with service packs installed?
Bob, to get rid of your diagnostic message try fully defining the path to the font file in your ffm.ini file.
For example:
fnt=..\SHARED\FONTS\DFONT.SH2
Change to:
fnt=C:\Sm9\SHARED\FONTS\DFONT.SH2

yes fred, I have this working. you have to go thru the "explorer/ folder options" route. open explorer, then folder options then file types new enter PM4 in the extension box, then "OK" you're now back to the folder options box, highlite the pm4 extension you just added in the lower portion of panel, click on advanced button, you'r now in edit file type panel click "new" action is "open", type this in the empty box application used to perform action is ""C:\SM11\SYSTEM\ffm.exe" %1" (edit your path, and note dbl quotes in string) from an earlier post you need the %1 in there un-check "use dde" ok to all and get out this works for me with "one" error
no matter what, when i start this way, my diagnostics panel pops up saying it can't find my dfont.sh2 file.
