That worked, set clearance to 10.0, no gouges. I will just have to remember save before overriding my clearance values.

I've found it to be the clearance planes. Moving them up
away from the material a few extra inches works for us.

How do you prevent the tool from crashing thru the
part in show cut when working on work planes that are rotated 90' or 180'
from one another? I tried using Point rapids but it didn't seem to make any
difference.
