I need to define "SMF" files for a couple of recently acquired milling machines. I

m_fansub.smf and m_fanuc.smf). What are the differences?

The files beginning with "m_" are metric. The one with "sub" in it's name probably supports subroutines. Look for information at the beginning of the .tmp file.

2> Referring to question 3 in machine define, what is a "TTS" file, what does it do, and do I need to have anything in here? The reason I ask is that I have several mills already and I only have "TTS" files in the lathe section.

TTS is "tape-to-shape". It is a way to reverse the process and use a code file to create a process model. It is used by the REVGEN program and requires that you have a TTS file set up much as you have a TMP file for SmartCam. This is not a simple process and may not be supported fully for your code files. Ignore this unless you have a need.

Look in the TMP file for the @TOOLCHG section. It is fully configurable.
