Some newer machines use a G30 as a return to tool change position (or other machine tool specific position). Check the machine manual. I've done programming for a Bridgeport that uses G30 to go to the tool change position and G28G91 goes to the axis reference. In short, you may have an alternate return to reference code already built into the control. You may also try calling Haas. They might be able to help you out. Benz
