Gary,

What you are describing would be impractical using the capabilities of the
macro language. Something could be custom written in VB or C and then called
from the macro, but that's a lot of work.

I believe you can accomplish most of what you described using the built in
function "Edit"-"Geo Edit"-"Modify".

The only drawback is that you could only cut (Ctrl+X) copy (Ctrl+C) and
paste (Ctrl+V) one field at a time.

Mouse select a entity.  Execute the macro, the macro opens a editor with all
the element information.
 
This is similar to the F7 key but in a text editor so I can select, copy the
