That's the way it is. The fields in the operation tab of the planner not pertaining to speeds and feeds, i.e. step over, depth of cut, finish allowance, tolerance, do not do anything right out of the box. They can be used in custom macros and you can put their data tags in various control panels and use "Keep Defaults" to save them there. Fred.
