Changing something like depth of cut or finish allowance in the planner will not effect some geometry already created, so it won't look any different in Show Cut.

Pete,

 

When you create a roughing tool the values you describe take effect when you use a Process-Rough tool such as pocket roughing, altering the value will not change something you've already created. Does that help?

In pmill I opened the planner from the file menu and entered a value for "finish allowance" on the operation tab in the edit process step dialog.  I'm not seeing that allowance when I do a show cut.  Is this just the way it is or am I missing something?
