hey all,
for anyone's information: a while ago I had problems getting a drawing file
from a code file. someone on the list told me to try
tape-to-shape. I tried t-t-s along with i-logic's inplot and eagle editplot. I
could not, for the life of me, get any of these programs to spit out a usable
sh3 or dxf file. after about a million tries, the answer dawned on me. i
realized that all three of these programs could not recognize my "v" & "w"
axes. i used edit plus and change all v's to y's and all w's to z's. all
three programs then worked beautifully. i, myself, recommend using eagle
editplot. i found it very useful and easy to use. it has very powerful and
user-friendly text editing abilities. with editplot you can save directly as a
dxf file.
