I'm trying to get my new computer loaded with Smartcam Advanced production milling and Wire EDM.    I have the permanent lock installed. It starts and works for a little while then freezes up. Is this the same problem others have had when using XP?    I have read the previous posts regarding the kill ctfmon batch file. Is this what I need to do? How is the batch file created? In Notepad? How is it saved?    Once I have created it do I just drag it and put it some where like a root directly?   Could some one give specific instructions for this process if it is what I need to do?   Thank you all.   Steve Schliebe Schliebe Machining Inc.
